Conference Overview
AMPLIFY!! 2007 will be set on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas featuring over 100 showcasing acts over three days. A unique twist on the music conference atmosphere sets this festival apart by the selection of 4 artists who will share in over $25,000 in cash and gear due to their standout performances during the first two nights of the festival. Select music industry reps will be present at each venue reviewing all performances. For bands, it’s not just an opportunity to showcase and network among peers and industry folks, but it’s also a chance to win some cash and gear for future tours and recordings. The third and final night of the conference will be held at one venue where the selected acts will be asked to perform at the closing event. A panel of industry professionals will issue the prizes based on the performances that evening. In addition, industry panels, late-night parties and a Music Biz Poker Tournament will all take place during the festival. And all participating venues are located within a 5-minute walk of each other, among the sea of affordable hotels and casinos on glitzy Fremont Street.
